Ladies and gentleman, sit back and relax, week 3 of the 2015 NFL season is upon us and it is kicking off with a old fashioned NFC East showdown. Following two fourth quarter meltdowns, the New York Giants are staring down a hole with a record of (0-2) but they hope they can turn their season around starting tonight. The Washington Redskins have their own internal issues having replaced a healthy Robert Griffin III with now starting quarterback Kirk Cousins but they are (1-1) and hoping to move forward with a big road win tonight at Met Life Stadium.
I expect the Giants to come out tonight and set the tempo earlier with the passing game. Eli Manning has made a few questionable decisions since receiving his big pay day but I believe he has worked that out and will display that tonight. Look for Eli to toss 4 touchdown passes tonight (2 to Odell, 2 to Donnell) with over 300 yards passing. The Giants running game will account for 120 total with their three headed monster (Jennings, Williams and Vereen).
The Washington Redskins will make it a game tonight but their offense won’t be able to keep up scoring. Kirk Cousins will pass for 275 yards and two touchdowns but not enough for a Redskins win. Washington’s defense has only allowed 238 yards per game so far this season but the Giants will nearly have that goal in the first half.
