Bay Area rapper Brookfield Duece delivers one of the most powerful and cinematic videos of the year for his new single “Screw Up,” off of his latest album Hoop Dreams. A cousin of NBA star Damian Lillard, Brookfield paints the picture perfectly of a young man trying to navigate his way through the streets of East Oakland, while growing up in late 80’s. Directed by Enrique Escudero over an infectious, head nodding beat by Jahosh, you might have to rewind this one a couple times to pick up all the subtly imagery that fits perfectly with Brookfield’s story.
