HHS1987 continues to document the culture year after year, event after event, so it was no surprise we continued our hard work at this years’ 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta, Ga. HHS1987’s Eldorado was conducting live interviews on the Sprite green carpet at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center and we caught up with FreeBandz own DJ Esco to discuss his personal highs and lows of the year.
After spending 56 nights in jail overseas in Dubai, DJ Esco discussed hitting the streets running after his release. DJ Esco spoke on his time overseas and how it was getting right back in the mix. Esco spoke on the success of Future’s new projects ‘DS2’ and ‘What A Time To Be Alive.’ He also hinted at a new project from him and Future before the year is over. Sharing a few of his favorite experiences touring this year, DJ Esco spoke on his love for Atlanta and let us know he is collaborating with producer Metro Boomin for their upcoming project entitled ‘Esco Boomin’.
