There is noooooooo greater interview than that of the Nardwuar series during SXSW. Every year he digs up never-before-heard information about the artists that we listen to on the radio daily & gives us an entertaining visual of their interesting conversations–you could almost call it an interrogation.
Nardwuar caught up with Migos, Mick Jenkins, MikeWillMadeIt, iLoveMakonnen, & Rae Sremmurd this year. In his interview with the creators of the super turnt up album of the year, SremmLife, Nardwuar presents Swae Lee & Slim Jimmy with a few gifts to remind them of their hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi. Tupelo is also the birthplace of the King of Rock-N-Roll, Elvis Presley, & the two recieve Elvis Presley’s cologne so they can now say they know what it feels like to be like “The King”.
We find out a lot about these guys. Shoutout to Swae Lee for coining the “Elvis Freshly,” I expect to see all the kids pulling those moves soon.
