Toronto, Philly and Newark take a temporary blow as Drake announced he’ll be postponing tour dates in these cities. These changes to the Summer Sixteen Tour were made due to a persistent ankle injury Drake has been dealing with. It’s been said that more shows will most likely be postponed but Drake is doing his best to fight doctor’s orders.
On his OVO blog, Drake penned an open letter to his fans:
“I feel like I am letting my fans in these cities down. I only want to give you the best show you deserve, I promise – I will make it up to you. Thank you for your understanding and I can’t wait to see you all again with new music and a stronger ankle.”
