New Toronto artist Tory Lanez easily has been one of the most consistent artists this year. From his classic ’90s samples, to his modernized dance hall remixes and even his differences with Toronto rival Drake, Fargo has always given us something to talk about. Well now, we can talk about Tory’s new track “Flex” and his upcoming album, I Told You, which drops on August 19.
“Flex,” which will be one of the 14 tracks on I Told You along with “Say It” and “Luv”, is typical Tory. Cool, calm and confident. He’s using his ability to fuse trap hip-hop with smooth R&B to flex on everyone who doubted him or played him, or past on him. His versatility makes him special.
