As a fan of Marvel’s comics and films, reports have surfaced that one of the biggest up and coming african-american actresses in Hollywood will be taking on a new role. Disney/ fashion star Zendaya is set to play Peter Parker’s best friend/girlfriend in Marvel’s upcoming film “Spider-Man: Homecoming”.
The news has surfaced that Zendaya will play Mary Jane Watson in the reboot of Marvel’s Spiderman. Zendaya will be the first black actress to play Mary Jane. What a big move for Marvel comics.
