Early yesterday afternoon, Drake paid a surprise visit to the University of Texas Women’s Basketball Team to spend some time with the ladies and show love before hitting the stage in Austin that night. Drake kicked off the first stop of his Summer Sixteen Tour in the city and opened up the show with the title track, “Summer Sixteen.” Instead of spitting the bars we’re all familiar with, Drizzy decided to switch things up by saying, “All you boys doing fake Controlla wanna be me a little,” which is a straight shot at fellow Toronto singer, Tory Lanez. Lanez has already covered, “One Dance” but doing “Controlla” must have taken Drake over the edge.
