The Atlanta Hawks stand at (11-12) and have ended the 7 game losing streak after defeating the (7-15) Miami Heat last night (103-95).
The Hawks ended their two week losing streak largely due to the efforts of their frontcourt. Dwight Howard picked up his 15th double-double of the season scoring 23 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. Paul Millsap was also very effective last night for the Hawks. Millsap finished the game with 21 points. Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder continues to improve putting up 17 points.

For the Miami Heat, they trying to fight back and make it a game cutting the Hawks lead to 6 points late in the fourth quarter but the Hawks stayed focus and got the win. Heat guard Tyler Johnson had a career night scoring 27 points and his backcourt mate Gordon Dragic scored 21 points. Hassan Whiteside collected 12 rebounds.
