Following a prison stint, Gucci Mane remained prolific with his music and hasn’t slowed down since his early release in May. He’s made waves with impressive verses on Kanye West’s “Champions” as well as his own “Back On Road” featuring Drake, and produced multiple bangers since then.
“I tried to put out a lot of music while I was gone so my people knew I was still here and still had something to say,” said Gucci Mane to REVOLT. “Being in federal prison wasn’t no cake walk, but it made be better. I came out even more powerful.”
In late June, Gucci announced his homecoming concert, the first major performance in three years, via Snapchat. Since Guwop has kept his guest appearances under wraps, any of the hip-hop superstars he’s collaborated with could possibly join him onstage. The rapper will also premiere his new studio album, “Everybody Looking,” the same day, adding to the immense hype.
