March is always a busy month for the industry. Those of us in music are well are of the “march madness” we face annually. As many of us prepare to make the trip to SXSW 2016 in Austin, Texas, it’s always helpful to learn about dope official and unofficial showcases in advance.
The Dope Dealer Tour was founded by founder and creator, TazManiaShow in 2015. D.O.P.E is an acronym meaning “Distributing Our Product Everywhere”. Dope Dealers have always been labeled as trouble makers to society; we’re bringing a positive connotation to the term “Dope Dealer”. If you’re a Dope artist and your dealing your music on the internet and in the streets; then TazManiaShow considers you a Dope Dealer.
On March 15th, the tour makes it’s third stop in Austin, TX at Bat Bar. So far the tour has hit Philly, Los Angeles and will be expanding internationally later this year. The Austin, TX stop features performances from Grammy Nominated Singer Kay Cola, T Dot iLL Dude, Chase N. Cashe, and many more!
Kay Cola is currently pushing her “The Youth” visual as she prepares for her “Lit Tour” with fellow Los Angeles native Eric Bellinger. T Dot iLL Dude teased his “The Vibe Is Heavy” EP on Instagram last night, as well as a Timbaland-produced cut, entitled “No One.” After producing all of Curren$y’s Cathedral project, NOLA artist Chase N. Cashe’s shared his latest The Heir Up There 2 mixtape, which you can stream here.
