It’s official, well sort of! Yesterday afternoon, the Philadelphia Sixers informed LSU freshman Ben Simmons that he will be the first overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft. After four years of misery for Philadelphia basketball fans, Simmons could be the key to turning the Sixers franchise around if he is actually selected.

Although the Sixers have made this announcement, I’m hearing that the Sixers could trade the pick or Simmons on draft night so we will just have to wait and see!
