On Saturday, September 17, 2016, BET “Hip Hop Awards” was filmed at its new venue, The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, GA, and HHS1987’s Terrell Thomas (Eldorado) and Brian da Director were on the scene conducting live interviews on the Sprite green carpet outside of the The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre
While on the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards green carpet we caught with super producer Zaytoven. No matter what direction Atlanta’s sound seems to go, Zaytoven is always the man controlling it. With hip-hop’s style and sound consistently evolving, Zaytoven’s is back in the lab with his friend, Gucci Mane and he spoke to us about working on Gucci’s new project ‘Woptober’ and more.
Zaytoven leaked information a few weeks ago on a possible Drake and Gucci Mane project entitled ‘The 6ers’ and he confirmed that Gucci Mane and Drake are three songs in so far. Zaytoven told us he couldn’t confirm a release date yet but to get ready for ‘Woptober’, Gucci Mane’s project that is set to drop in October.
The 2016 BET “Hip Hop Awards” will premiere on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. ET. This interview was conducted by HHS1987’s Terrell Thomas (Eldorado). The interview was shot by Brian Da Director.
