A new era in the NBA is among us and the 2016 NBA draft is complete. After trusting the process for the past three seasons, the Philadelphia 76ers had the first overall pick in the draft and they selected LSU freshmen Ben Simmons. Simmons will come in as a starter for the Sixers and I believe he will played power forward but also serve as the Sixers floor general.

The Los Angeles Lakers selected Duke scorer Brandon Ingram with the second pick and the Boston Celtics surprised many people by selecting Jaylen Brown out of the University of California. Ingram could in up being the best overall scorer in the 2016 NBA draft class and sure in well with the Lakers. Jaylen Brown is a perfect fit for the Celtics as his size and offensive skills are just have Celtics head coach Brad Stevens needed to get his team back to the playoffs.
