The Caribbean starlet known as Barbee has been a staple on the dancehall scene internationally, collaborating with the likes of Beenie Man, Junior Kelly and even Trina. Now, she is primed and ready to bring her talents to the states. Having partnered up with Hip Hop mogul Master P, the sky is the limit for the 6 foot tall singer/model. Her new single “Whoa,” is a reggae infused pop record produced by platinum production duo Rock City. The track lifts its sample from the seminal reggae tune “Bam Bam” by Sister Nancy, which was immortalized the 1998 Hype Williams film “Belly.” For the video, Barbee takes things a step further, recreating classic scenes from the film including the now classic Black Light Scene.
