The Atlanta Dream were rolling during the month of May but a tough loss at home to the Washington Mystics on Sunday afternoon has ended the Atlanta Dream’s 5 game winning streak and they have a few days to rest before they look to bounce back against the Minnesota Lynx on Friday night.
The Washington Mystics defeated the Atlanta Dream (86-79) in large part to Tayler Hill who scored 17 points for the Mystics. For the Atlanta Dream, WNBA all-star Angel McCoughtry and Elizabeth Williams played big in Sunday’s loss it just wasn’t enough to equal a victory. Angel McCoughtry recorded 28 points and 4 rebounds and Elizabeth Williams added 21 points and 6 rebounds.
