James Fauntleroy’s music is an acquired taste. The singer’s use of live instrumentation and simplistic production is both relaxing and inviting. And Fauntleroy started the wee off by inviting us into his world with three new records. His strongest record out of the trio is “Miami Rain,” followed by “Stop Doing Cocaine” and “I Can’t Do That.” All three showcase Fauntleroy’s versatility, vocal range and his depth, as far as lyrical content goes.
