Atlanta Hawks (HC) Mike Budenholzer Talks The Upcoming 2017-18 Atlanta Hawks Season, The New Look Eastern Conference, His Love For Golf & More at the 2017 PGA Tour “Atlanta Celebrates the TOUR Championship” at the College Football Hall of Fame

On Monday September 18th, the 3rd annual PGA Tour “Atlanta Celebrates the TOUR Championship” event took at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta. The event brought together the Atlanta business community along with some of Atlanta biggest tastemakers to kick-off TOUR Championship week, now in its 16th consecutive year in Atlanta.

The event was hosted by V103 morning show host Ryan Cameron and the evening featured a performance by hometown favorite, Ludacris. The community celebration honored the PGA TOUR’s top 30 players and included appearances by Georgia Tech alum Matt Kuchar, Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed, Daniel Berger, Pat Perez and Brian Harman.

To gear fans and Atlanta residents up for the Tour Championship which takes place at the East Lake Country Club from September 21st-24th, many of the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Falcons were in the building. While walking the red carpet, HHS1987’s own Terrell Thomas had a chance to speak with Atlanta Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer.

Just two weeks away from the start of Hawks training camp, Coach Bud spoke on his excitement for the season and he delivered some insight on his goals for the teams. With the addition of big man Dewayne Dedmon and a few other key player this offseason, Coach Bud spoke on the new Hawks roster and how they will gel together. Before closing, we also spoke with Coach Bud on the new look Eastern Conference. With Derrick Rose, Gordon Hayward, Kyrie and Dwight Howard all in new uniforms in the East, Coach Bud spoke on the East and his love for the PGA and the game of Golf.
