The (34-28) Atlanta Hawks continue their six game home stand tonight in the four game as they host Stephen Curry and the (51-11) Golden State Warriors. Both teams come into tonight’s game playing their second game of a back to back.
The Hawks are currently (1-2) during this home stand defeating the Dallas Mavericks on March 1st and losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers over the weekend. The Hawks suffered a tough loss on Sunday night (97-96) to Indiana in a game where Paul George exploded for 34 points. Golden State is coming off of a (112-105) win in Madison Square Garden on Sunday. The Splash Brothers were on a roll in The Garden as Stephen Curry finished with 31 points and Klay Thompson finished with 29 points.
Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer will return to the sideline tonight after he missed Sunday’s game for Atlanta vs. the Pacers serving a one game suspension for bumping a ref. Hawks newly acquired point guard Jose Calderon should also make his debut for Atlanta tonight. Golden State defeated the Atlanta Hawks back on November 28th (105-100) in Oakland. The Hawks will be looking to tied their season series vs. Golden State and get a much needed win tonight.
The Golden State Warriors vs. Atlanta Hawks matchup will tip at 7:30pm live from Philips Arena.
