Everyone is taking to social media in response to the tragic mass shooting in Las Vegas that occurred last night on Sunday, October 1st. It’s been called the “deadliest mass shooting in US history,” as 58 people were killed along with more than 500 injured. The lone gunman – whom we can rightfully call a “terrorist” – was identified as 64 year old, Stephen Paddock. He was later found dead in his hotel room – officials believe he killed himself.
As news of this spread, celebrities started expressing their thoughts as well. And like the rest of us, they believe this should be called an act of terrorism as well.
My heart is breaking for Las Vegas. We need love, unity, peace, gun control & for people to look at this & call this what it is = terrorism.
