Coming off of a close (103-101) lost to the Boston Celtics on Friday night, the Atlanta Hawks are back in action on Sunday January 15th at 3pm. On Sunday afternoon, the (22-17) Atlanta Hawks, take on the (20-18) Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks were in Atlanta on November 16th losing to the Hawks (107-100). The Bucks will be looking to change that this afternoon. Bucks point guard Malcolm Brogdon is a native of Atlanta’s suburb Norcross and he will be making his home debut this afternoon against the Hawks. Potential Bucks all-star Giannis Antetokounmpo is having a break out season and his matchup against Dennis Schroder will be key. The Bucks are on a two game winning streak after defeating the Miami Heat on Friday night (116-108). In that game for Milwaukee, Bucks star Jabari Parker scored 24 points, Malcolm Brogdon scored 13 points and and Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 19 points.
For the Atlanta Hawks in their last game they fell to the Boston Celtics (103-101). Friday night’s lost to the Celtics ended the Hawks 7 game winning streak. Paul Millsap and Tim Hardaway Jr. were the leading scorers for the Hawks scoring 23 points each. The Hawks are (2-0) against the Bucks this season so far and today they will look to make it three straight.
