Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook is having one of the greatness seasons in NBA history. Russ has lead the Oklahoma City Thunder all season long to a sixth seed in the 2016-17 western conference NBA playoffs and yesterday versus the Denver Nuggets Westbrook sealed his MVP campaign if you ask me.
Westbrook made history on Sunday afternoon scoring 50 points, collecting 16 rebounds and dishing out 10 assist to pick up his 42 triple double of the year breaking Oscar Robertson’s previous record of 41. Not only did Westbrook make history, he hit the game winning three point shot from 36 feet away to defeat the Denver Nuggets (1061-5). Many of today’s celebrities and Westbrook’s NBA peers took to social media to congratulate him on making history.
