On Saturday February 4th, the Atlanta Hawks moved on to a record of (30-21) after defeating the (20-33) Orlando Magic (113-86) at Philips Arena. The Hawks continued their winning ways from Thursday night’s victory against the Houston Rockets.
For the Atlanta Hawks, both Tim Hardaway Jr. and Paul Millsap were huge scored 21 points each. Tim Hardaway Jr. shot (8-14) from the field and Paul Millsap shot (7-14). Hawks big man Dwight Howard continues to be a double-double machine for the Hawks finished the game with 11 points and 13 rebounds against his former team. Dennis Schroder was also effective as the floor general finishing with 17 points and 10 assist. The Atlanta Hawks led the Magic (65-39) at halftime and never looked back.
The Orlando Magic’s first half struggles seemed to be to big for them to overcome. Orlando Magic high flyer Aaron Gordon finished the game with 16 points. Magic point guard Elfrid Payton finished the game with 12 point and no assist. Jeff Green was effective off the bench in his near 18 minutes of action. Green finished the game with 12 points.
