On Monday September 18th, the 3rd annual PGA Tour “Atlanta Celebrates the TOUR Championship” event took at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta. The event brought together the Atlanta business community along with some of Atlanta biggest tastemakers to kick-off TOUR Championship week, now in its 16th consecutive year in Atlanta.
The event was hosted by V103 morning show host Ryan Cameron and the evening featured a performance by hometown favorite, Ludacris. The community celebration honored the PGA TOUR’s top 30 players and included appearances by Georgia Tech alum Matt Kuchar, Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed, Daniel Berger, Pat Perez and Brian Harman.
To gear fans and Atlanta residents up for the Tour Championship which takes place at the East Lake Country Club from September 21st-24th, many of the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Falcons were in the building. While walking the red carpet, HHS1987’s own Terrell Thomas had a chance to speak with Atlanta Hawks big man Mike Muscala.
After resigning on a two year deal with the Atlanta Hawks over the Summer during the 2017 offseason, Mike Muscala spoke on gearing up for the 2017-18 NBA season and looking forward to getting back to work. With Nike unveiling the new NBA “Statement” uniforms, Mike “Mooooose” Muscala spoke on his love for the NBA’s new apparel. Before concluding on interview, Mike Muscala let us know he is excited and plans to checkout the “TOUR Championship” on Saturday at East Lake Golf Club.
