Philly native Bri Steves will be in town on November 16th on tour alongside H.E.R on the “I Used To Know Her Tour” at the Electric Factory. Fresh on the heels of the Atlantic Records Access Granted HBCU Tour, Bri Steves is on the road again as direct support on H.E.R.’s “I Used To Know Her” tour – kicking off in Atlanta at the Coca-Cola Roxy, the tour makes its way throughout the US before wrapping up at San Francisco’s Warfield Theatre on December 20th.
Bri Steves released her debut single, “Jealousy,” back in May and since then, Bri has continued to crank out new music. She released “Ain’t Shit” early in September, closely followed by the hard-hitting “Late Night” along with companion video and most recently, “Miami,” the video for which marks the prequel to “Late Night.”
Bri recently made her BET Hip Hop Awards debut in a cypher alongside fellow female lyricists, Sharaya J, Chika, and Neelam Hakeem and DJ’d by the iconic Erykah Badu. Additionally, Bri recently made her festival debut, joining Kendrick Lamar on stage during Philly’s Made In America festival.
Just last year, Philly-native Bri Steves was finishing up her senior year at Temple University, majoring in public relations all while discovering her sound as an artist in her dorm room. Since graduating, Bri has been on a steady rise, bringing a sound that’s all her own – borrowing from the ‘90s while embracing the hybrid sounds of today’s hip-hop/R&B artists. Armed with an undeniable voice, unstoppable drive, and honest yet slick pen game, Bri Steves brings a new flow to the game.
