Kandi & Todd Tucker Talk Old Lady Gang Opening in Philips Arena, the “Soul Sandwich”, the So So Def 25th Anniversary Tour & More (Video)

To kickoff the 2018-19 NBA season, Philips Arena is set to be bigger and better than ever.

 

On Wednesday August 15th, the Atlanta Hawks hosted a special event to show a few of their supports and fans just what they have in store. During the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club’s 2018-19 Preview Event, the franchise announced key plans regarding the 2018-19 season, the future of their business and the transformation of Philips Arena. Held at Terminal West, Atlanta Hawks Chief Executive Officer Steve Koonin outlined the vision and provided details of the following major campaigns.

 

Following the spotlight show where Hawks CEO Steve Koonin revealed the new Hawks Hardwood Classic Jersey’s, the Opening Week schedule and Philips Arena’s new restaurant partners, Terrell Thomas had a moment to speak the founder’s of the Old Lady Gang restaurant Kandi Burress and Todd Tucker.

 

Kandi and Todd are well know for the reality show “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and Kandi is a very successful entertainer but their lately accomplishment puts them in a new realm. Quickly, Kandi and Todd’s restaurant “Old Lady Gang” is becoming a staple in Atlanta and now their restaurant will be in the new Philips Arena.

 

As we prepare for the upcoming NBA season, Terrell Thomas spoke with Kandi and Todd on their restaurant coming to Philips Arena, their menu which includes the “Soul Sandwich” (a Fried Chicken Sandwich with Mac & Cheese and Collard Greens on it), the Atlanta Hawks upcoming season and the upcoming So So Def 25th Anniversary tour.
