The 2017-18 NBA was one for the record books for the Philadelphia Sixers and the future is bright for them. The young Sixers have showed us that trusting the process has been key and one of the reasons the future looks well in Philadelphia is because of the play of Sixers swingman Robert Covington.
On May 14th after his former Sixers assistant coach Lloyd Pierce was introduced as the Atlanta Hawks new head coach, Terrell Thomas caught up with Sixers swingman Robert Covington to speak on an array of topics.
Robert Covington spoke on the 2017-18 NBA season and how the Sixers grow as a team during the regular season and playoffs. Spending the past few seasons with coach Pierce, Covington spoke on the leadership of Lloyd Pierce and how he was the right man for the job.
Making a name for himself in the sneaker culture this season, Robert Covington broke down the themes of some of his Kickstradomis custom sneakers, what he meant to have Meek Mill sitting courtside during the NBA Finals and his plans for the NBA offseason.
The interview was conducted by Terrell Thomas. The interview was shot by Danny Digital.
