The Roots Picnic is a long-running, cultural festival heading into its eleventh year! This June, the festival will not only host The Roots live “Jam Session” (hosted by Dave Chapelle), but multiple panels as ell. From fashion, to podcasts, to sports, and more, names such as Jemele Hill (ESPN), Bozoma Saint John (Uber), Amber Grimes (Spotify), and more will be participating in various panels. The festival will also feature an exclusive capsule collection from heralded lifestyle clothing brand, VLone. The brand will have limited edition Roots Picnic merchandize for festival attendees!
Other pop-up brands include Rebels to Dons, Common Ground, Ammo Stillo, Working on Dying, and there will be a MADDEN & NBA2K video game tournament curated by IPOD King Carter.
