Houston native Trae Tha Truth has been a force in the music world and the community of Texas for several years. Recently, Terrell Thomas sat down with Hip-Hop star Trae Tha Truth to discuss his new project “Hometown Hero”, SXSW 2018 and much more.
With his new 12 track project ‘Hometown Hero’ currently making a lot of noise in the music industry, Trae Tha Truth shared the creative process behind the process and the message in his music. Serving as the Texas ambassador in the Hip-Hop world, Trae Tha Truth shared his experience with his Relief Gang movement and the current conditions in Houston as the city continues to recover from Hurricane Harvey.
Before concluding our interview, we also discussed a few things involving the sports world in Houston. We discussed the Houston Rockets chances at winning the NBA Finals, James Harden’s MVP chances, if Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson can lead the Houston Texans to Super Bowl and Trae broke the news that he would be tossing out the first pitch at a Houston Astros baseball game next month in April.
