On Monday April 9th, the New Orleans Pelicans sealed their spot in the 2018 NBA playoffs after a (113-100) victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

 

It’s still up in the air what seed the Pelicans will have in the western conference but they are in. On Monday night the leading scorer for the Pelicans was Anthony Davis. Davis finished the night shooting (11-22) from the field with 6 rebounds and 2 assist. Nikola Mirotic following Davis’ big performance finishing the night with 24 points and 16 rebounds. E’Twaun Moore finished with 19 points and Ian Clark added 14 points off the bench.

 

For the Clippers, although they aren’t in the playoff picture any more, they put up a hell of a fight. Sindarius Thornwell was the leading scorer for the Clippers. Thornwell finished the night with 20 points on (9-14) shooting  with 5 rebounds and 7 assist. Added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assist. C.J. Williams and Tyrone Wallace both added 10 points for the Clippers.
