On Monday September 17th, Tee Up ATL rocked the College Football Hall of Fame last night as the event brought together the Atlanta business and sports communities along with residents to kick-off TOUR Championship week, now in its 17th consecutive year in Atlanta.
The evening featured a performance by hometown hip-hop legend, Big Boi. The community celebration honored the PGA TOUR’s top 30 players and included appearances by Georgia Tech alum Matt Kuchar, UGA alum Bubba Watson, 2018 Masters winner Patrick Reed, Paul Casey and Gary Woodland
To gear fans and Atlanta residents up for the Tour Championship which takes place at the East Lake Golf Club during the week, many of Atlanta’s sports celebrities were in attendance to celebrate the night. While walking the red carpet, Terrell Thomas spoke with former NBA star Theo Ratliff.
During the night, Terrell Thomas and Theo Ratliff spoke on the success of Philadelphia Sixers star Joel Embiid, the success of Atlanta Hawks star John Collins, Theo’s love for the music of Big Boi and Outkast, who Theo views as the best defensive player in the NBA and more.
