At times revenge can be so sweet and that certainly was the case last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
After recently having their five game winning streak snapped by the Dallas Wings last week in Dallas, the Los Angeles Sparks hosted the Wings on Tuesday night in L.A. and the Sparks picked up a great win in what was a very close and exciting game.
For the Sparks who were without Nneka Ogwumike due to a minor back injury, Candace Parker and Chelsea Gray led the way. Parker finished with a season high 29 points along with 7 assist and 6 rebounds. Chelsea Gray also finished with a season high scoring 23 points. Sparks rookie Maria Vadeeva led the Sparks with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.
For the Dallas Wings, center/star Liz Cambridge led the way scoring 25 points with 14 rebounds. Wings all-star Skylar Diggins-Smith struggled from the floor finishing with 12 points on (4-18) shooting.
The Los Angeles Sparks are on the road on Thursday June 28th against the Seattle Storm and then head to Las Vegas on June 29th to face the Las Vegas Aces. Follow @eldorado2452 on Twitter and Instagram for all your Los Angeles Sparks, WNBA and sports news.
