unnamed-13 Jay Loud Showcases Vocal & Lyrical Range On Debut Project ‘Nap Town’

By way of Indianapolis, now residing in Seattle, EMPIRE’s multi-talented recording artist Jay Loud releases his debut project Nap Town, presented by All Money In’s DJ V.I.P., via Taj King Ent./EMPIRE.
The 16-track project, whose title is comprised of the two cities that have shaped his young life and fast-rising career: Indianapolis (aka Nap town) and Seattle (aka the Town), features his prior ELEVATOR-premiered singles, “Lick,” “Sideshow,” “Ice Cream,” and his most-recent release “Interlude.” Jay also connected with Seattle’s Lazā for his ABOVE ALL premiere “Zoom.”
On his debut project, Jay ping pongs between singing and rapping, both of which he does effortlessly. While he flexes his lyrical dexterity on tracks like “Lick” and “Sideshow” on “Ice Cream” and “Interlude” Jay showcases his voice. He previously shared about “Interlude,” “I wanted to showcase my voice, aside from being a rapper, and also tell the world that I can sing, sing, not just harmonize. In regards to Nap Town, which features a mixture of R&B and Hip-Hop, “Interlude” introduces the smoother R&B side, standing as an introduction to me as a singer.”
While he’s been on the scene for less than a year, in that time Jay’s made commendable efforts with his summertime single “Ice Cream,” currently over 186K views on YouTube and 303K streams on Spotify, and has received multiple nods from some of the industry’s biggest tastemakers. With his effortless versatility, Jay Loud secures his place as the North Pacific’s newest on-the-rise artist, who’s surely capturing the attention of those who take a listen.
