Flipp Dinero returns with his long-awaited full-length project, Love for Guala. It’s multidimensional — in Flipp’s own words, “I sequenced the project with intent; it starts with songs from the street, then love songs, to ending with songs about growth and being a man.” With star-studded features from Lil Baby, Jay Critch, Kodak Black, Rich The Kid, and A-list production from DJ Khaled, Tay Keith, Ben Billions, and more, Love for Guala is out now!
To accompany the project drop, Flipp shares the video for “Westside,” a bouncy and romantic anthem. The video combines two of Flipp’s favorite things: baddies and cars. Flipp flexes in his Brooklyn body shop, showing off his bright orange Lambo and his We The Best chain while he raps romantically, “Call me when you need me, girl I’ll do a lot for you, that’s anytime you need me.”
Guala is Flipp’s signature acronym, meaning: God’s Unique Accolade Life Acquired. It’s about love of self and love of money. What more could you want? The project gives a proper home to “Leave Me Alone,” the insidiously catchy breakthrough record that cemented Flipp’s status as a genuine hitmaker. The song peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Urban Radio Charts and reached the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, earning Double Platinum certification from the RIAA.
