Recently, HHS1987’s Terrell Thomas sat down with DJ/ A&R/ music consultant Bigga Rankin at the LiveHipHopDaily Studios in downtown Atlanta.
Hailing from Jamaica and making a home in Atlanta, Bigga Rankin has been instrumental in the discovery, marketing and or development of several of your favorite/ biggest Hip-Hop artist.
Bigga Rankin sat down with us to discuss his journey in music, why he decided to team up with T.I.G. Records, YFN Lucci’s upcoming album and more. He broke down why understanding the music business is key before you jump into the industry, why marketing matters and he spoke why it is important for artist to be businessmen/ business women as well as musicians.
