While we credit the East Coast – specifically New York City – as the birthplace of Hip Hop, the West Coast has undeniably made an impact on the culture as well. Hip Hop veterans from the LBC, such as Snoop Dogg, have decided to give their respective region a reason to celebrate their contribution to Hip Hop. Once Upon A Time in the LBC returns this Summer at Queen Mary Park, and will spotlight a plethora of Left Coasters such as YG, The Game, Nipsey Hussle, Too Short, and more. DMX will also make an appearance to perform “It’s Dark and Hell is Hot” in honor of his album’s 20th anniversary.
