Although the Houston Rockets and Carmelo Anthony parted ways a few months ago, Anthony was still technically a member of the Rockets.
As rumors of a possible interest between the Los Angeles Lakers and Melo seem to be at an all time high, the Rockets have decided to trade Carmelo Anthony and cash to the Chicago Bulls. If your thinking, “wow Carmelo has been on three teams already this season”, you would be correct. Now the question is what’s next for the career of Carmelo Anthony.
Anthony could certainly end up a member of the Lakers by the all-star break but the Lakers would need to make a few changes to their roster in order to do so. If the Lakers trade Brandon Ingram or Kyle Kuzma look out, a Melo jersey could be headed to the Staples Center. If not, the Bulls will also consider waiving Carmelo making him a free agent.
