Earlier this evening, Hawks Talon Gaming Club made their first four selections in the 2019 NBA 2K League Draft to complete their first-ever roster. The team started the night by selecting DevGoss with their first-round (13th overall) pick. Following that pick, the team chose Rando (31st overall) in the second round, Jay a Fool (47th overall) in the third round and XxSTL2LAxX (64th overall) in the fourth and final round.

“We are very pleased to welcome these four outstanding players to the Hawks Talon GC family,” said Samir Mayur, Hawks’ Vice President of Business Operations. “They will help us create a winning culture and develop the next generation of Atlanta Hawks fans.”

After spending part of the inaugural NBA 2K League season with Magic Gaming, Orlando native DevGoss (Devin Gossett) was chosen with the 13th overall pick. DevGoss made NBA 2K League history by becoming the first former NBA 2K League Coach to be drafted as a player.
Rounding out the team’s selections were second-round pick and Brooklyn-native Rando (Randolph Moreno), third-round pick and Houston-native Jay a Fool (Jonathan Jefferson) and fourth-round pick and former member of Bucks Gaming XxSTL2LAxX (Mark Hampton Jr.)
“We are excited for our selections to show everyone in the 2K League what we know they are capable of,” said Wes Acuff, Head Coach and General Manager for Hawks Talon GC. “I believe that we drafted very talented players to complete our roster.”
The four draft picks join a roster that already includes both Dat Boy Shotz and ARS0NAL x, two members of Hawks Talon GC who were selected in the 2018 NBA 2K League Expansion Draft.
