On Thursday August 29th, some of the biggest stars in Hip-Hop and R&B were in Atlanta, GA at the Byers Theatre – Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center for the 2019 BMI/Hip-Hop Awards.
The 2019 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards saluted the top songwriters, producers, publishers and administrators of the past year’s 36 most-performed R&B/Hip-Hop songs in the United States from BMI’s repertoire of more than 13 million musical works.
The night was also a celebration of R&B living legend Brandy Norwood as BMI honored her great career. As some of the BMI awards nominees and artist walked the red carpet before the BMI awards, Terrell Thomas spoke with R&B star Eric Bellinger.
Eric Bellinger spoke on Brandy’s career and how he was influenced by vocal range abilities, songwriting and longevity in the music business. Preparing for the release of his upcoming project ‘Saved By The Bellinger’, Eric Bellinger shared a few secrets on upcoming music, plays for 2020 and more.
