Today, hip-hop artist 42 Dugg announced the release of his latest single, “Free Me,”which comes on his birthday and serves as the third release from his upcoming project
The dynamic song – which was produced by Antbeatz – is available to stream on all platforms HERE via Yo Gotti’s CMG and Lil Baby’s 4PF.
“Free Me” is the latest in a string of singles that Dugg has dropped in recent months and follows the release of “Free Woo” from earlier in November, where Dugg pays tribute to an incarcerated friend as well as his Detroit community. Back in August, Dugg also came out with “Free Merey,” which candidly explored the challenges that come with newfound success in the public eye.
Aside from his own songs, Dugg continues to shine on guest collaborations, delivering a combination of explosive verses like on Meek Mill’s “GTA” and introspective bars on Blac Youngsta’s “Streets (feat. Yo Gotti)” in recent weeks.
Beyond those appearances, Dugg has also contributed memorable verses to Marshmello’s “Baggin,” Big Sean’s “Friday Night Cypher,” “TI’s “On The Hood,” Mulatto’s “Off Top” and Yella Beezy’s “Solid,” among others. The Detroit native also celebrated his first nationally-televised performance at the 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards last month, kicking off the show alongside Lil Baby for a rendition of their Top-10 hit “We Paid.”
Earlier this year, Dugg dropped his acclaimed Young & Turnt 2 project that featured collaborations with Yo Gotti, Lil Baby, Moneybagg Yo, Dej Loaf and Babyface Ray and standout songs like “Not A Rapper,” “Hard Times” and “Big 4’s.”
