Iz LaMarr starting on making music on SoundCloud in his late highschool years.
He only shared his music with the other people at his high school. In 2019 he had his first official commercial release titled “Countdown”, than he had two follow up singles “Lightbulb, and “West Side”. Iz LaMarr has been growing his audience since than, currently he is gearing up to release his debut official music video titled “BLOW”.
Iz LaMarr was born and raised in Los Angeles, he grew up listening to mostly West Coast music, his Father and Grandfather put him onto the culture. Originally when Iz was around 8 years old he started playing piano and a guitar around the age of 10.

We asked Iz LaMarr a question today and this is his reply:
What is the most challenging thing you have overcome in your life?
“As far as my music and career, one challenge I’ve had to overcome is feeling the
need to sacrifice certain things for what I guess would seem like the ‘greater
good’ in a given scenario. Especially when it comes to the music industry I find it
very difficult to compromise or limit myself for the sake of furthering my own
success. Feeling the need to change a part of who you are or what you do just to
‘fit in’ or be more commercially successful is something that never feels right to me, but often as artists we feel pressured to do so in order to get to a certain
level. However I realize that there are better ways to get where you want to go,
and you should never be okay with settling just because something is ‘good
enough’ even if it means working a little harder or approaching it from a different
angle, its worth it in the end.Are you currently signed or independent?
a. I’m currently an independent artist managing my own releases and promotion. I
take control of every aspect of my art from the production and engineering to the
album covers and social media.” – Iz LaMarr
