Lil Nas X and Nas team up for the visual collaboration of their single, “Rodeo.” Drawing inspiration from the classic movie, “The Matrix,” directors Bradley & Pablo worked with Lil Nas X on bringing their artistic vision to life. In the video, the Hip Hop cowboy is transformed into a vampire after being bitten on the neck. Coming alive at night, Lil Nas X eventually links with Nas who plays a Morpheus-inspired character – later turning Lil Nas into a supernatural superhero.
The contrast between Lil Nas X’s sound and Nas’ classic flow truly bridges a generational gap amongst Hip Hop fans.
Last month, the dynamic duo performed on the GRAMMYS stage. Seeing their musical chemistry roll over to film is exciting to watch.
