What’s your name ?
-My name is MobBeatz, I am a recording artist from New York.
Where are you from?
-I am originally from Istanbul, Turkey.
When did you start making music?
-I started playing Flute in the school band at the age of 9. I professionally took music serious when I started producing at the age of 14.
Where can we find you mostly, in the studio or in the club?
-In the studio, every night. I hate the club. Nothing but loud music and a constant struggle to communicate over that loud music.
Who is your childhood hero?
-I’ve had a lot of heroes in my childhood. My favorite ones are from my family though.
What’s the best way for someone reading this to find you on social media, what’s your main platform?
-I am mainly active on Instagram. @mobbeatz on all social platform.
Do you have anything to share with the fans, any hints on new songs or collaborations?
-Lot of major features on the way, stay tuned for that heat!
What time of day do you make music, are you and early bird or are you up late?
-I usually start either very early in the morning (8am-9am) or very late at night (11pm-12am).
Do you prefer to listen to your own catalog of music or the radio?
-My own music gets boring to me by the time I release it, so definitely the radio.
If you could pick one or the other what would you choose, the money or the fame?
The fame. That’s what I am working for. Money is never an issue for me. It’s the recognition I am after.
If you could go back in time or in the future which one would you choose and why?
-The future. I would want to see if everything I am going through right now is worth it in the end.
