Making music that’s both artistically credible and utterly hilarious is a challenging line to walk, but one that Ohio’s Milligram tiptoes with ease. “Designer frames on a dollar store face,” he coos in his signature deadpan tone, over a gorgeous guitar lick & trap drums.
The single ‘Thicc Thott’ comes in collaboration with Billboard-charting production team Ghostcraft Music, founded by mysterious trap producer LX Xander. Having shared a variety of adventures with Ghostcraft already (including an Asian spa odyssey and a run-in with Drake & his bodyguards in LA), Milligram credits the team as having played a significant role in helping him to nail down his sound as an artist. The new track is a quirky combination of trap, 2000s pop punk and even a touch of Lil Dicky style lyricism.
