Chicago’s Rockie Fresh has solidified himself as one of rap’s most reliably chill figures by steadily dropping uplifting, laid-back jams. He’s back with a new visual for the intimate, R&B-flavored ballad, “Must Be,” which features a soothing hook from Chris Brown. The video finds Rockie caught in a love triangle between two gorgeous women, while the song’s lyrics play out the tricky feelings they’re trying to express to one another.
“Must Be” was one of the standout tracks from Rockie‘s 2019 full-length debut, Destination, his first release since signing with Rostrum Records. The video comes off the heels of his new charged up single, “Let It Be,” and latest visual for “Feelings Hurt” feat. Casey Veggies and 24hrs. While this is already his third offering of 2020, Rockie has assured us he’s just getting started on his hot streak, and doesn’t plan on slowing any time soon.
