To celebrate the holiday season, multiplatinum musician and entrepreneur Yo Gotti announced the release of his festive new single, “Wish List,” which was produced by Ben Billions & CuBeatz and is available to stream on all platforms HERE via Gotti’s independent CMG record label.
To supplement the release of the new song, Gotti also unveiled a music video for “Wish List,” which was directed by GTFilms and shows the Memphis hip-hop artist wrapping gifts, delivering presents to his community and spreading holiday cheer. You can watch the new visual HERE.
The new release caps a celebratory calendar year for Gotti, who secured full ownership of his masters, released his 10th studio album Untrapped, dropped his first single as an independent artist and oversaw the successful release of projects from his CMG artists such as MoneyBagg Yo, 42 Dugg and Blac Youngsta all in 2020.
Since unveiling his album in January, Gotti has continued to release new music, including his latest single “Stay Ur Distance” in late-August and “Recession Proof” in July. Beyond his individual releases, the CMG boss has continued to collaborate with new and veteran artists alike, dropping verses for Jeezy’s “Back”, Rylo Rodriguez’s “For Me” and Wheezy and Future’s “Guillotine.”
“Wish List” also comes nearly three years since Gotti released his last holiday-themed song “3 Kings (feat Fabolous & DJ Khaled)” off A Very ROC Christmas album – Roc Nation’s holiday compilation album in 2017.
Earlier this week, it was also announced that Gotti would be working on a personal memoir as part of Roc Nation and Random House’s new publishing imprint – Roc Lit 101.
