Turning 25 today, Kehlani, is not only celebrating her birthday but the announcement of her new album as well! Her highly anticipated sophomore album now has a title and yes — a release date! “It Was Good Until It Wasn’t” is set for a May 8th release as she shared the official cover art on social media earlier today. The album was initially set for an April 2020 release but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Kehlani shared that she was “not thinking about music at the moment, focused on how to just be a good citizen to society at this time,” and urged fans to “stay SAFE.”
“It Was Good Until It Wasn’t” is the follow-up to Kehalni’s 2017 debut, “SweetSexySavage. And it comes just after her recent signing with Pulse Music Group for a worldwide publishing deal! This deal includes her entire music catalog and any additional work in the future!
