On Monday January 20th, Award-winning inspirational hip-hop artist Lecrae performed at both halftime and postgame when the Atlanta Hawks took on the Toronto Raptors for their MLK Day Game.
Before Lecrae took center court and rocked the crowd at State Farm Arena, Terrell Thomas was able to catch up with the Reach Records star.
Shifting his focus to helping bring awareness to teenage suicides and the importance of mental health awareness, Lecrae is working on a new album ‘Restoration’ and novel ‘I Am Restored’. Lecrae explained why those issues are so important to him and what he plans to rollout with both the book and album releases late this year.
Lecrae isn’t just a Grammy award winning music star, he is also a huge sports fan. Terrell Thomas spoke with Lecrae on the “Restoration” of the Atlanta Hawks franchise, Trae Young’s All-Star season and Lecrae shared who he believes are the 5 most influential athletes to ever play professional sports in Atlanta.
