While preparing for his highly anticipated projects, Don Toliver has shared a few previews. In addition to “What You Need,” he released an anticipated collaboration with Kali Uchis called “Drugs N Hella Melodies” on Friday (June 18). It even sparked dating rumors (coupled with his boo’ed up birthday Instagram post) and Kali’s lines from the song confirm that.
For “His & Hers,” Toliver teamed up with Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, and Latto, and on the upcoming “Fast Lane” soundtrack, he can also be heard with Latto and Lil Durk.
Along with finishing his own project last year called Heaven or Hell, which produced hits such as “After Party” and “No Idea,” In 2020, Don Toliver has contributed to several notable songs such as NAV, Rico Nasty’s “Don’t Like Me” with Gucci Mane, “Cafeteria” by CHASE B featuring Gunna, & Internet Money’s “Lemonade” alongside Gunna and more. He is no stranger to Drakeo The Ruler, as he previously appeared on his mixtape, The Truth Hurts.
In addition to her second album, Kali Uchis has also just released her first Spanish-language effort, Sin Miedo (Del Amor Y Otros Demonios). This collection contains 13 new tracks featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR and Rico Nasty, as well as Latin artists such as Jhay Cortez and Jowell y Randy. For fans to hold them over until her upcoming album, Kali released an EP titled To Feel Alive in April. Four new DMV tracks were released to accompany the project, which featured production from Vegyn, Austen Jux-Chandler, Chahayed, and more.
