Killer Mike sought the boycotting of an Atlanta restaurant since they allegedly discriminated against NBA legend Dominique Wilkins.

During the weekend, Wilkins resorted to social media fir shedding light upon the incident, revealing that he was denied service at the Le Bilboquet restaurant in Buckhead. He tweeted that in his life he ate at the greatest restaurants in the world and yet, he was never met with prejudice, nor was he turned away due to his skin color. He then went on to tag the restaurant in his tweet.

Immediately, the Run The Jewels emcee went on to defend Wilkins and pushed the restaurant to right their wrongs. He  tagged them in his tweet too and asked them to correct themselves and called them “lame.”

Since then, the Le Bilboquet released a statement stated that the Hall of Famer was not denied service due to his race, and instead, because of what he wore. The restaurant stated that it does its best to accommodate all their guests, adding that their dress code is ‘business casual,’ wherein jeans & sneakers are allowed, while athletic clothing, such as sweat pants & tops were not.

Wilkins stated that he donned “designer casual pants and a shirt.” The French Bistro faced substantial criticism from several people on social media, and then, went on to issue a formal apology, stating that they would promptly alter their dress code policy. This is what their statement was:

“We sincerely apologize to Dominique Wilkins for the events that occurred on May 22,” the statement read. “No patron of our restaurants should be made to feel unwelcome or less than, and for that, we are deeply sorry. It was never our intention to make Mr. Wilkins — or anyone else for that matter — feel that way at our restaurant.”
